Following his critique of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Senator Ali Ndume has been removed as the Chief Whip of the Nigeria’s Senate.
He was subsequently replaced with a senator from his state, Senator Tahir Monguno.
His removal came as a result of directive issued via a letter written by the National Chairman of the party, Umar Ganduje and National Secretary, Senator Bashir Ajibola.
The request was put to voice votes by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and loudly affirmed by all the APC senators.
