Mohbad: Foundation Offers N50m Reward Amid Autopsy Ambiguity

African Television and the African Foundation for Justice has announced a reward of a N50 million for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death of a Nigerian Singer,  Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

The CEO of the foundation, Larry Omodia made the announcement on Wednesday, at the Ikorodu High Court, appealing to the general public to ensure that those responsible for the death of the promising artiste do not go unpunished.

Omodia said, “To put an end to this mystery, African television and African Foundation for Justice are raising this N50 million for anybody—police officer, market women, or gatemen—if you know something or anything that may have caused the death of Mohbad, contact us. We guarantee you, we will raise N50 million for you and you will be taken abroad for safety.”

Meanwhile, the pathologist who conducted an autopsy on the singer’s corpse, Sunday Osiyemi.on Thursday revealeds that body decomposition was responsible for the failure to determine the mysterious death of the Nigerian artist, who passed away in September last year.

Meanwhile, legal experts noted that the investigation is ongoing despite the autopsy’s limitations.

Mr Omodia while expressing sorrow over the inconclusive results, stated that a tribute concert had been slated for September, this year to keep Mohbad’s name alive.
