A retired custom officer, Chief Idris Barau Ibrahim has declared his reason for joining politics and pitched his tent with the All Progressives Congress was borne out of his desire to join forces with likeminds, to developing his local government and Niger state in general.
In an interview with WesternLifeNewsNG, Mr Ibrahim who holds the title of Galadiman Izom said he joined the APC as a party man, and not to contest for any political position in 2027.
At a well attended occasion, Mr Ibrahim officially joined and received into the fold of ruling party (APC) in Gurara Local government of Niger state.
According to him, he believed in the supremacy of the party and promised to abide with its constitution.
