Following his ouster from the red chamber, Senator Elisha Abbo has described the judgment, sacking him as a coup on democracy.
The lawmaker represented Adamawa North senatorial district while addressing the newsmen on Monday, however blamed his sack by the appeal court in Abuja as a price he paid for not supporting Godswill Akpabio’s senate presidency bid.
He also alleged that five senators have been penciled for removal over the same issue.
According to him, senator like Orji Uzor Kalu will soon be butted out of the red chambers for not supporting Akpabio’s bid.
The appeal court, while sacking Mr Abbo, declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Amos Yohanna as the winner of the February 25 election.
