The national president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Joe Ajaero says the recent policy of President Bola Tinubu government, is nothing but anti people.
Ajaero made this submission while featuring on Channel Television programme, Politics Today, adding that Nigerians cannot see worse more than they are being subjected to.
The NLC had issued a seven-day ultimatum to the government over the recent hike in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and other “unfriendly policies.”
He made it clear that labour Union latest decision to embark on strike is based on current jerk up price of premium motor spirit from N500/520 to N620/N630 per litre.
Ajaero said the organised labour and representatives of the federal government during their last meeting in June set up committe to took into the then hike price of the petroleum products, wondering why another increase when the committe is yet to conclude its assignment.
The labour leader said the union will mobilise Nigerians for nationwide protest on the anti people policy of Tinubu’s government.

Meanwhile, the representatives of the Federal Government and organised labour are meeting at the Presidential Villa in a bid to avert a nationwide strike.
The NLC team is headed by its national president, Joe Ajaero, while the Trade Union Congress (TUC) team was headed by its president, Festus Osifo.
