The Oyo State chapter of the JDS Political Dynasty has formally declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, expressing confidence in his administration’s policies and pledging to mobilise widespread grassroots support for his second-term bid.
The endorsement was made in a statement issued by the Oyo State Coordinator of the political group, Mogaji Igbinsola Sunday Paul, who described President Tinubu’s leadership as one that has laid a strong foundation for Nigeria’s long-term growth through economic reforms, infrastructure development, and governance initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, the country requires continuity in leadership to consolidate the gains already recorded by the Tinubu administration and sustain the momentum towards national development, peace, and economic prosperity.
He said the JDS Political Dynasty remains convinced that President Tinubu’s vision and commitment to repositioning Nigeria make him the right leader to continue steering the nation’s affairs beyond 2027.
“As members of the JDS Political Dynasty, we stand firmly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We believe his courageous leadership and commitment to national transformation deserve the continued support of Nigerians. Our resolve is to work tirelessly for his re-election in 2027 because continuity is essential for the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the statement read.
Mogaji Igbinsola also expressed appreciation to the founder and leader of the JDS Political Dynasty, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo of Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, describing him as a visionary leader whose humanitarian interventions and commitment to grassroots development continue to inspire members of the organisation.
He noted that the values of integrity, unity, and service championed by Sanusi have strengthened the group’s resolve to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s democratic development and national progress.
The Oyo State coordinator further assured that members of the JDS Political Dynasty across the state would intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general election, with the aim of securing massive support for President Tinubu’s second-term aspiration.
He added that the organisation would continue to promote the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda while advocating policies that foster peace, inclusive development, and national unity.
