As Nigerians commemorate Democracy Day, the Southwest Zonal Leader of Accord Party, Mogaji Igbinsola Sunday Paul, has extended warm greetings to members of the party and the entire JDS Family across Oyo State and beyond, urging them to remain committed to the ideals of democracy, unity, and good governance.
In a Democracy Day message released on Thursday, Mogaji Igbinsola described democracy as the foundation of justice, accountability, and collective progress, noting that the occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by patriots who fought to secure the democratic freedoms Nigerians enjoy today.
He called on Accord faithfuls to remain steadfast and united in their pursuit of truth, fairness, and service to humanity, stressing the need for continued collaboration in promoting peace, development, and progress within their communities.
According to him, supporting leaders who prioritize the welfare of the people remains essential to strengthening democratic institutions and advancing societal growth.
The Accord chieftain further encouraged members of the JDS Family and party supporters to remain hopeful and focused on the shared vision of a better Oyo State and a greater Nigeria. He emphasized that through unity, dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the party’s ideals, members can make meaningful contributions to the nation’s democratic development.
“Democracy thrives when citizens remain engaged, united, and committed to the common good,” he stated, adding that collective efforts are necessary to build a prosperous and inclusive society.
Mogaji Igbinsola concluded his message with prayers for the continued growth and success of the Accord Party, the progress of Oyo State, and the peace and prosperity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He wished all Nigerians a memorable Democracy Day celebration and reaffirmed his commitment to the values of oneness, progress, and democratic governance.
