The leadership of the JDS Political Dynasty in Oyo State has distanced itself from Hon. Kunle Busari, the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Political Matters, declaring that he is not a member of the movement despite speculations linking him to the group.

This clarification was made by Mogaji Igbinsola Sunday Paul, the State Coordinator of the JDS Political Dynasty in Oyo State, who stated that Busari’s name does not appear in the official register of the movement in Ibadan South-West Local Government or anywhere across the state.

According to him, while Hon. Busari reserves the constitutional right to pursue his political ambition under any political platform, including the Accord Party, associating himself with the JDS Political Dynasty is misleading and false.

Mogaji Igbinsola stated that members of the movement across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State are well known to one another and duly recognized by their various local government coordinators.

He stressed that the JDS Political Dynasty remains a structured and disciplined political movement with a clearly defined membership identity, adding that no individual should falsely claim affiliation for political advantage.

The coordinator further revealed that the Owoseni Support Group (OSG) and the “Oyo n pe o” political structure of Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat have formally aligned with the JDS Political Dynasty in a strategic political partnership within the Accord Party ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

According to him, the alliance is focused on presenting Accord as “the only credible alternative” capable of delivering purposeful leadership and a brighter future for the people of Oyo State.

He urged members and supporters of the movement to remain calm, united and committed to the collective political vision of the group, warning against distractions capable of weakening the party’s growing momentum ahead of the next general election.

“Mogaji Igbinsola appealed to party faithfuls not to allow themselves to be used by agents of distraction whose mission is to derail the chances of the party in 2027,” the statement added.

The JDS coordinator also cautioned political actors against exploiting the name and reputation of Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi and the JDS Political Dynasty to score cheap political points in the state’s evolving political landscape.

He maintained that the movement has built its reputation on integrity, credibility and humanitarian service, insisting that its political mission remains people-oriented and free from controversy.

“The JDS Political Dynasty has no stain. Our movement is built on incorruptible integrity and a genuine commitment to humanity and good governance,” Mogaji Igbinsola declared.
