Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem, MCIArb, MCIOB, МСАВЕ, the esteemed CEO of Afia Group and Mogaji of the Adanla family of Ibadan, is set to be turbaned as the Giwa Adini of Offa Land on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
The prestigious ceremony will take place at the Chief Imam of Offa’s Arabic School in Offa, Kwara State.
This recognition follows an official letter from the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muyideen Salman Husain, acknowledging Adanla’s enduring contributions to the advancement of Islam and humanity.
The letter reads in part: “The office of the Chief Imam of Offa hereby wishes to notify you that you are appointed as the Giwa Adini of Offa in recognition of your contributions toward the propagation of the words of Allah and your meritorious services to Islam and humanity at large.”
Sheikh Husain further emphasized that the honor reflects not only Adanla’s dedication as an Islamic leader but also his remarkable influence as a community leader.
