Chaos Erupts After Beyoncé’s Atlanta Concert As Bug Scare Injures Fans, Team Robbed Of Unreleased Music

What was meant to be a night of celebration for Beyoncé fans in Atlanta turned chaotic after a bug scare at the Vine City MARTA station left several people injured, just moments after the singer’s concert at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The incident occurred earlier this week as fans were exiting the venue following Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour stop in the city.

According to AllHipHop, a woman spotted a bug at the nearby Vine City train station and screamed in fear, prompting mass panic among the crowd.

“The initial reports were that a woman was scared of an insect and screamed and ran away from it, and others panicked not knowing what was happening,” a MARTA spokesperson said.

Startled commuters rushed toward the station’s escalators, which sped up momentarily before coming to an abrupt stop, causing several people to fall. Nine people sustained injuries during the chaos, one with a broken ankle and seven others treated for minor injuries at nearby hospitals. One individual reportedly declined medical treatment.

This wasn’t the only disruption linked to Beyoncé’s Atlanta stop. Earlier in the week, the singer’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and a dancer, Diandre Blue, fell victim to a break-in near Krog Street Market. Their rented Jeep Wagoneer was reportedly left unattended for about an hour, during which the vehicle was broken into and two suitcases were stolen.

Among the stolen items were hard drives containing watermarked and unreleased Beyoncé music, footage plans for the Atlanta show, and past and future setlists. Grant told police the materials included sensitive information critical to the production.

Security cameras captured footage of the break-in, and investigators recovered two sets of fingerprints from the vehicle. While an arrest warrant has been issued, no suspect has been apprehended as of yet.

Despite the setbacks, Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour continues to draw massive crowds and excitement across the country.
