The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has urged the Christian to pray for Nigeria.
Mr Giwa, in Easter message, extended greetings to the Christian families in Ibadanland and particularly in Lagelu Local Government on the occasion of Easter celebration.
He described Easter period as another opportunity for the Christian brothers and sisters to rededicate their life to the propagation of love, peace and service to the almighty God through Jesus Christ.
The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland urged them to continue to exhibit the virtues of forgiveness, unity and peaceful co-existence, which are the principles exemplified by Jesus Christ.
”I want to join Christian brothers and sisters in Lagelu Local Government, Ibadanland and Oyo State at large by expressing my heartfelt greetings to them as they celebrate this year’s Easter.
”It is a season of joy and reflection, it is a season to spread love, kindness and compassion to the people around us.
”It is time to reflect on the past and rededicate to the propagation of love, peace and service to almighty God through Jesus Christ, who is the essence why Easter is being celebrated.”
Mr Giwa, therefore, enjoined them to use this period to pray for the country and its leadership for a better society.
