The Provost of Ajorosun College of Health Technology, Ibadan, Dr. Adeniyi Odedele, popularly known as Ayanfe Olodumare of Oluyole Local Government, has congratulated the former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, on the occasion of her 66th birthday.
In a statement issued in Ibadan on Friday, Dr. Odedele described Senator Sunmonu as a trailblazer in Nigerian politics and a role model for women in leadership.
He noted that her emergence as the first female Speaker in Oyo State and her service as Senator representing Oyo Central in the 8th National Assembly have left a lasting impact on governance and public service.
“Senator Sunmonu has demonstrated uncommon courage, maturity, and dedication throughout her political career. She is a beacon of hope and a shining example for young women aspiring to lead,” Dr. Odedele said.
He prayed for continued strength, good health, and fulfillment for the former Speaker as she marks another year of grace and impact.
