Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has escalated his feud with his former lover, Queen Dami, by releasing a new song titled Bye Bye to Jaga Jaga.
The title, which translates to “bye bye to rubbish,” suggests a final dismissal of their troubled relationship.
Portable shared snippets of the song on his Instagram page on Saturday, December 14, 2024, using it as a platform to reiterate his allegations against Dami.
The singer accused her of nearly destroying his home, claiming she was promiscuous during their time together.
In a statement, Portable revealed he had discovered incriminating messages on Dami’s phone, including the names of notable Fuji musicians she allegedly had relationships with.
He said, “I asked her why those names were in her phone, and she admitted that her husband, the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, could not satisfy her. After that meeting, she claimed to be pregnant for me, but I gave her conditions she had to meet before I could accept her as a wife.”
Portable also claimed that after taking her in, he rented an apartment for her behind his music studio.
However, he accused Dami of creating chaos by destroying his bar, chasing away his workers, and meeting his wife, Queen Bewaji, without his knowledge, which allegedly caused tension in his home.
On the other hand, Dami has declared she is done with the relationship. After leaving the apartment Portable provided for her, she posted on Instagram, saying, “Alhamdulillah, I’m done. This is too much for me, can’t take this embarrassment again. Ire oo.”
