Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde recently found herself at the center of a light-hearted exchange after a fan mistakenly referred to her by the wrong name on social media.
Dami Adenuga, a social media user, shared a video of the award-winning actress, but instead of using her well-known name, he addressed her as “Omotola Johnson.”
The video, which originally featured Omotola explaining her periodic breaks from Nollywood, quickly gained traction.
In response, the iconic actress wasted no time in playfully correcting the error.
She reminded the fan that simply calling her “Omotola” would suffice, stating that the name is already trademarked.
“Omotola Johnson? Lol… Please just call me OMOTOLA. It will suffice. It’s Trademarked,” she wrote, adding a humorous touch to the conversation.
