The award recognises Tompolo and his company, Tantita Security Services Limited, for their significant contributions to protecting the Niger Delta environment, combating oil spills, preventing pipeline vandalism, and promoting sustainable peace in the region.
In a statement released in Yenagoa, Pastor Wilson expressed his admiration for Tompolo’s selfless service and his impact on the development and peace of the Niger Delta.
He highlighted Tantita Security Services Limited’s accomplishments, including reducing pipeline vandalism and oil theft, creating employment opportunities for youth, and contributing to economic growth through increased oil production.
Pastor Wilson commended Tompolo for his dedication to national progress and urged all stakeholders to support his efforts in safeguarding the nation’s oil assets. “Protecting our national assets is crucial, as any reduction in oil production affects every sector of the economy,” Wilson emphasised.
