The House of Assembly aspirant in Lagelu state constituency, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa, has sent Easter greetings to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Christian faithful.
In his message, the Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland urged Christians to reflect on the lessons and teachings of the resurrection.
Giwa described the season as a period to renew commitment to God, rededicate service to humanity, and share love among people irrespective of status.
He appealed to CAN leadership and Christian bodies in Nigeria, Oyo State, and Lagelu Local Government to pray for peace, unity, and progress in the country.
Wishing them a joyous Easter, the founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation reminded well-to-do Christians to uplift their communities by supporting one another, especially the less privileged.
“I congratulate Christian faithful in Nigeria, Oyo State, Ibadan, and Lagelu Local Government on Easter. It’s a moment to reflect on our relationship with God, renew our commitment, and dedicate our service to humanity,” Giwa said.
“I urge CAN leaders to pray for the nation. I wish all Christians a peaceful and joyous Easter celebration.”
